Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor Worst starting machine that I ever had. When you have to do 8 steps just to start it I should of know better. Then when I get it going and move the lever to the final position it stops. Then what. I am so disappointed that I gave up and used my old one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ok I bought this at Farm & Fleet in Chippewa Falls WI. The main reason I bought this brand is because you don't have to wind the string around a spool, just poke it through the hole and wind it like that. Used it twice and could not get the line to come out the other hole. Took it back to F&F and they couldn't get it through either so they game me a new one. Same thing happened. Took it back and come to find out, you have to cut the line at 10' and feed the line through opposite holes. Apparently they put a different head on this model and did not update the manual. Very frustrating and upsetting. Next upgrade the manual before you ship equipment. Otherwise, it runs good and does the job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won’t start I bought one of these trimmers last summer. Used it a handful of times with clean fuel. Tried to start it twice this summer. Each time I invested 30 minutes. Neither time did it start. Meanwhile my wife purchased a electric trimmer “toy” that is way outperforming the trimmer I bought. Took me over a year to convince her to spend the money on the Troy Bilt. Not doing that again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable once started. I bought this 4 years ago and it does the job. Sometimes won’t start right away, but once started no problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Bought this 2 years ago when I bought my house. Barely 2 years old and it died. Took to my small engine repair guy, and he determined it to be the carburetor was bad. Would have cost me over 2/3 the original cost to repair. Not worth it. Probably won't ever buy anything troy bilt again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like the convenience of the different attachment so far so-good I have the hedge trimmer attachment, which works great. I will buy pole saw attachment next. I will never go back to a two-cycle.
