Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun until the steering issues kicked in Poorly designed steering mechanism resulted in 4 repairs over time. I've owned it for only 3 years and will be getting rid of it very soon. My lawn is average sized and relatively smooth. Very, very frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal size for my yard. One of the greatest produc Was mowing both front and back yard with a TB280ES, but realized that involved a lot of walking for my age (83), so I purchased a TB 30 R and am now having fun doing work. For its size it is a great product and easy to manuver in tight places.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bang for the buck riding mower! Bought the TB30R to mow my 1/2 acre yard with a slight incline and a few trees. It maneuvers well, and the various controls are very easy to use. When the mower was brand new, it cut like a champ and my bermuda yard looked really good, pretty much was a golf course! Here, however, is my only issue experienced. I ran over a root and the blade got bent into the ground. After changing the blade, it was pretty clear the cut was off side to side (higher on the left, lower on the right). There isn't an adjustment on this mower for side to side, just front and back. So, I ended up getting the spindle replaced, but that did not solve the issue. The only conclusion I can find now for the still-uneven cut is that when I ran over the root, the deck itself got bent and warped in the process. So, knowing that the deck is 14 gauge steel, it is a little on the lighter side compared with other mowers with 12 gauge or stronger decks. I'll probably get my deck replaced or sell this to someone who isn't as picky as me. All in all, if you can avoid silly accidents like me from cutting lower than necessary, you'll find AMAZING bang for the buck in this rider!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good inexpensive riding mower for small to medium I've had this mower about a year now and enjoy the way it handles and mows. Mulching is great even in higher grass, just put a new blade on it and it's perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect set-up for my yard Bought mower 07/2018. I have a 1/2 acre yard, no trees, basically flat. Love the easy operation and quick turning radius. My yard is St. Augustine grass. Finished job looks great. I currently own Troy-Bilt basic push mower I use for mowing around flower beds and side of home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Mower I bought this mower in 2014. The mower is very good, I have a 1.7 acre yard with approximately 12000 sf of landscaped lawn. The yard grade is relatively yard with a 30° +/- slope in the front. I can cut across or with the grade easily. The safety features are very nice. Examples you can cut in reverse as long as you turn the key halfway, then press the orange triangular button labeled RF until the orange light displays, then the mower cuts in reverse. Additionally the safety switch on the mower when placing either the side discharge, mulching cover or grass catcher must be properly engaged to start the mower. The mower cuts well, and very evenly. You can cut at low or high spped depending on the the height of your lawn. I don't like the fact that the mower jerks when you engage it, which could cause you ro have a lower back pain if you gave back issues. All in all, a very good.mower that I highly recommend for those who need a smaller mower. I needed a smaller mower for where I store it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best littl Mower I bought this as I’m too old to use a push mower. It take MUCH less time to mow our lawn. One problem is the shift lever from neutral to drive: the knob keeps coming off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed Bought in August of 2016. For two years I have enjoyed my riding mower . As a senior I find it easy to handle on tight turns.
