Rated 1 out of 5 by from worst piece of garbage I ever bought The first time I used it after purchase the vibration was so intense the belt guard cracked. The wheels freeze up and won't turn especially on the left side. It doesn't blow the snow good, the snow kicks back under toward the user. When I tried to fill it with gas, I took the gas cap off and the gas tank fell inside the machine. The tank is only held by a thin wire strap and a bolt and washer that's attached the underside of the hood. The vibration caused this to break and drop the tank. When I called customer service they said they will replace the hood. This won't solve the problem because it will happen again. Only the warranty will be expired and will be your problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great snow blower This snow blower has been great. I love the electric start, I need that option due to neck and shoulder problems. I ha purchase. We had to cut down on the size of our garden or I would still have it.d a tiller in the past and it was also a great. I would recommend Troy-Bilt to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor design on the cover of the unit. Bought this on November 8, 2018 from Lowe's. Did not have a lot of snow this winter only small accumulations. When I was prepairing it for storage this summer I noticed when I went to put stabilizer in the gas tank when removing the lid the gas tank fell down inside of the outer casing. I took an extended warrenty out at lowe's and found it only covered engine and electrical. Checked the manufacture warrenty and the outer cover was not covered. Pulled the back off and found the cover has little hangers molded into the cover case. They were broke off and the bracket holding the tank droped down. The unit runs good and worked great but really disappointed the the design of the system that holds the tank Also noticed all the bolt's holding the cover are cracked. Very disappointed in the engineering of this unit. Anyone buying one of the troy-bilt blowers like this will have the same problem in the future. I ran a bolt through the top to keep the tank attached with the wire bracket. Thought out of all the snow blowers I checked that Troy-Bilt was a good product. I would not recommend anyone buying this unit unless you have the ability to fix them yourself.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Should've bought a Toro Bought this two years ago for a 100ft long driveway and 3 car garage apron. If it snows greater than 6in this single stage struggles to move the snow especially wet snow. The cheap plastic wheels freeze up and have no traction. The reversible wear bar on the bottom is a good idea, flip it over for another season of use then order another. The gas tank is suspended from the top cover with a cheap hanger.. .which broke after a season of use. It's louder than our previous Toro and does not scrape the snow off the pavement as completely... leaving a thin layer requiring salting to prevent icing. The pullcord holder on the handle broke first season, as did one of the tabs on the plastic key. Not on the same level of performance for the dollar as a similar Toro

Rated 1 out of 5 by from hard to find/get to oil drain It's time for an oil change, but could not find where the oil drain was. Contacted troybilt on line corresponding with a represtative however he was not much help. Finally found what I think is the oil drain but Iit seems to be located behind the rear cover and have no idea how to get the cover off and if this is actually the oil drain.
