Rated 3 out of 5 by from Garden Cultivator Purchased at Lowes. I use the pull start and it is hard to start if you do not follow the starting procedure to the letter and even then takes several pulls. When it is running it works great. Mine will not run once the tank gets to 1/2 or less in fuel. Mine constantly leaks oil/fuel out of the breather and has since day 1. I rebuild garden tractors as a hobby so I am very mechanically inclined and I have had to continuously work on this thing since new to get it to run. I am very disappointed as I expected the same quality as my Pony tiller which has had only basic maintenance since 1989 and is still going.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good purchase If I can get this to keep running I really do like it as its very easy to use. The problem I have is, it will run with the filter out but when I put the filter back it the machine stops. I have the Electric start tool, so I don't have to pull the rope. I have cleaned the filter, put it back in and it won't even start. Take the filter out and it will run. The first time I used it worked fine. Now it won't run and I have only had it 3 weeks. Hopefully I can get this problem fixed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Design I bought this tiller to help in my 1/2 acre garden with hopes it would help with the weeding, It hasn't. this tiller has spent more time in the repair shop then it has at my house. The problem I am having with it is the recoil either keeps getting clogged or breaks. If they would find a way to close some of the vents up it might do better, if they get rid of the plastic they use that is. Go to either a heavier plastic or metal on the recoil is my thoughts. Starting this is okay but turn it off you will have trouble restarting it. Over all I am HIGHLY dissapointed with this tiller, I wish i could get my money back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small Cultivator Cultivator works great on small flower beds. Tends to bounce a bit in garden, though. A little more weight would help. Otherwise, I am very pleased w/the tool.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Little Tiller I got this thing to do some hoeing for me. I originally got the two cycle, but after one use, it would not start. I took it back and spent more money for the four cycle. This one starts and seems to do what I want. I have the troy built Horse (8 HP) that is 35 + years old. It is still my primary goto machine, but parts are wearing out and my dealer tells me that they cannot get what I need. Not sure I like that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but could be better I like everything about cultivator except the air cleaner cover vibrates off when in use. Had to duct tape it to keep it on. Mfg. defect or poor design?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TB146 Garden Cultivator Nice machine. Starts easily and is not nearly as noisey as the 2 cycle models. Saves me an enormous amount of time since I can cultivate my large garden in less than an hour. My old hand-cultivating days took several hours and a lot of strain on my back. My only suggestion is to use wider wheels or a longer axle to make the transporting of machine more stable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garden Cultivator Easy to use and assemble. It is a bit finicky when starting and you need to let it warm up a bit. It does provide a very smooth texture to the dirt upon use however.
