Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bronco Great mower. Wish there was a way to lock the differential. Wis there was a way to lower pressure required for the pedal

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough as an old Ford pickup truck! I'm not the most careful user and my 2011 Bronco has a number of dents and dings. I keep the Kohler engine serviced though, and the lube points oiled/greased, but I don't worry much about its appearance. The engine purrs, the deck cuts smoothly, and the machine steers easily. Like I said, it's like the old '48 Ford pickup my uncle had on his farm -- looks like heck, runs like a Swiss watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really like it Troy Bilt Bronco Automatic (CVT Drive) 42” deck Kohler 17hp(597cc) Engine. Purchased 06/2016. It's now 10/2018 so I'm ending my 3rd mowing season with it. Over all I'm very happy with it. Mows well and have not had any problems to speak of. One BIG plus I like about it is with the CVT Transaxle it mows in reverse the same speed as forward. With a gear drive reverse is very slow. If you have to do much backing up this is a great improvement. I selected this mower due to price and what you get for the money. I felt it was a better value than other brands I looked at plus I wanted to try a kohler Engine, we'll see how this Kohler compares over time to other small engines I've owned. Also this engine has a replaceable oil filter, that's a plus, many of other engines don't. The con's for this mower was Con.1. the engine throttle set up, in order to start the engine with choke you had to start cold engine under full throttle, which is NOT a good thing. It was easy to modify the linkage, separating the throttle/choke, add a separate choke cable enabling starting at low RPM with choke. Con 2, The engine start switch that required moving the switch to the second run position and pushing a button until a LED came on to enable mowing in reverse was a big aggravation especially since I had a tendency to forget it till I reversed and killed the engine. But once I figured out the wiring setup it was easy to disable, now I don't have to contend with that silliness any more. All newer mowers have some form of this so called safety feature. I was a little apprehensive about the CVT transaxle not ever owning one before but so far I like it. After selecting forward or reverse you have one peddle on the right, more you push it down faster you go,let up to slow or stop. Makes it quick and easy to change mowing speed to suit grass conditions. Another plus for this mower is it has a very short turning radius that's good for getting in close around trees, shrubs etc. This has reduced how much time I spend trimming up with push mower. So far I really like the mower and would recommend it. I maintain a little over one acre of lawn with it. The only accessories I have for it is a mulching kit that contains a baffle plate to cover the discharge and a set of mulching blades for fall of the year to mulch leaves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent mower I have had my mower for almost 2 years. It has had no problems and mows and handles well. I only wish the deck could be raised a little higher for some field work I do. I also recommend purchasing the bag attachment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Drive I bought my Pony in 2016, so now that I've used it for 3 summers I can say it is definitely "broke-in", The easiest rider I've ever owned. Put it in gear and go. Too many safety things for me, but I've gotten used to them. Most irritating is shifting into reverse with the blades in-gear and the motor shuts off...unless you turn the key back 1 notch and push a button first. Again, overall it is a good riding mower. It is designed for mostly level yards. After I got it home I found out the motor can't pull oil at higher grades, so no mowing the sides of hills. The oil and filter are super easy to change. Attach a short drain hose and the twist for the oil to drain from the side of the motor. The Pony has held up well. After 3 summers it is in great shape except for the seat which has started to tear where I sit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tractor. Good value! This tractor was purchased prior to cutting season, 2017. It is the second one I have had. Well satisfied with it. Controls are located differently, but better I feel. The only thing I don't like is the smaller gas tank. It's half the size of my previous one, and causes an inconvenience to stop and re-fuel more often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tractor for 1/2 acre lot My wife purchased this tractor for my birthday last summer. It has performed well beyond expectations. Alot of my neighbors have the more high end tractors but i have the best yard by far. I get allot of compliments and questions from the neighbors wives.... :-) Funniest thing is when they complain that their husbands have these expensive tractors and their yards don't compare. Love my Bronco! PS. My lawn is usually thicker and greener but a couple weeks off TX heat takes it's toll.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to get on and off, mow and care for. Mows a large lawn in a little over an hour. It also pulls a core type aerator and a dump trailer for yard work. Always has plenty of power.
