Rated 4 out of 5 by from Irritating problem From day one and throughout the snow season the snow blower will only run on half choke. On open choke it surges. New, clean fuel was used per the instructions. I bought it as the snow season had started. I had no way to easily transport it to a authorized repair shop and I needed it anyway to keep my driveway clear during the season. This seems to be a common carburetor problem with this model as per what I have read on the internet. Now that the snow season is over the shops around me only work on summer devices and tell me to bring it in after Labor Day. The machine does a great job of blowing snow. It should be delivered with a smooth running engine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic equipment!!! I have had my Troy-Bilt snowblower for several years and it hasn’t let me down to date. I love the electric start as it saves my arm from the cold starts. Fires up easily and is still running great. A truly awesome machine. I cannot stop recommending this very fine machine. We also have a Troybilt lawnmower that is also still giving great service. Please keep up the good work with your equipment,

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage - DO NOT BUY THIS! This is nothing but a scam! I bought this snow blower 2 years ago and every year it won't start. After taking it to a small engine repair twice, following the manual and using ethanol free gass with still won't start. It cost a lot and it was a waste of money! D

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2018 Troybilt model 2410 I bought this new at Lowes Jan 2019. It was a display. It started fine at the store. I've read a number of reviews and see folks have had a lot of trouble with the carb not liking ethanol in the fuel on this Chinese made engine. I have not had that trouble, yet, as it is in its first season, and now dread the prospect. We'll see next year. I always summerize my snow thrower. Now on to the usage of the snow thrower: I had an old Montgomery ward unit with a Tecumseh 2 stroke. I kept it running and it did a decent job. Had to replace paddles and scraper blade. It did wear out finally after 20 plus years, so I bought this Troybilt 2410. First snowfall was powder. I was impressed how far the snow threw out compared to my old one, until I got close to the street and picked up slush from the salted snow mix and found the blower clogging up like a snowcone maker. It was quite annoying. It would not blow that slush out at all. I have ended up, by the street using the snowblower like a PLOW to push this slush to the sides. Also, even though the side skids to scraper blade were adjusted per the instructions, plowing the driveway left about an 1/8th to 1/4" of snow. My old machine cleaned it ALL. Another problem, the plow's augers do not always scoop in the snow but instead heap up the snow in front of the unit and eventually push to the sides. You can't tell that until it's around the sides that you back up and see the pile bunched up in front of the snow thrower. Inside the metal housing, there is so much clearance between the auger and the metal sides that they cake up with snow. similarly in the second stage, the snow cakes on the sides and blades. It's very difficult to remove this snow with the tool provided. Finishing and parking in the garage leaves a huge puddle from all the snow. All in all I'm not very impressed with this unit and WISH I had bought an MTD equivalent to my old Monkey Ward snow thrower.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this snow blower two years ago and have used it about six times. The plastic chute is the issue. It started with the problem of not being able to turn the chute with the crank. it appears that the chute retreated from the cogs of the crank somehow. The last time I used it the plastic chute fell of and the snow shot straight in the air and landed on my head. Of course when i looked at my warrantee it expired less than two months prior. If I were looking to buy another snowblower I would definitely look for one that was more durable, that is less plastic and more steel.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Price Good snowblower except NO LIGHT and no AUGER LOCK?? Throws snow just fine but again, no AUGER lock requires users to hold down both handles while removing snow, really??? You need to stop to change throwing direction which makes the removal job tougher and no light; other cheaper brands INCLUDE a light to make their machines safer but NOT this model which is very disappointing I;m sorry to say??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a workhorse!!! I purchased the Storm 2410 in November 2018 at Lowes. I was anticipating that this Winter (2018-2019) we would get a lot of snow in Ellensburg, WA. Boy, did we! The snow blower will take 1 inch of snow and throw it 30 feet. I have used it to clear my driveway for snow depths of 1-12 inches. With the power wheel drive, I can do this effortlessly. I live in a retirement community where I have elderly neighbors. They cannot shovel the snow off their driveways. When it snows here, I will clear up to 6 driveways and the 2410 Storm works well. I use non-ethanol regular gas--this is what is recommended for small engines. I have had a great experience with this snow blower and other Troybilt machines such as my lawn mower and my weed eater.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Troy-Bilt: I surrender. Troy-Bilt: I bought a new Troy-Bilt Storm 2410 Snow Blower about three years ago from Lowes. I can honestly say that I have spent more time hauling it to repair shops than running the machine. I now understand that the Chinese engine in my unit is a very good engine that is extremely sensitive to fuel. I did not know that I had to run ethanol-free gas to keep the carburetor from clogging. I did not know that even ethanol-free gas will clog the machine if left in it for over two months. I did not know that, as I live in Denver and snow is sporadic here, that I will just about have to drain the tank every time that I use my snow blower. From the first time in the early 1980's when I saw a Troy-Bilt rear tine rototiller, I thought that Troy-Bilt was the pinnacle. I thought that I had really done something when I bought this machine. I was wrong. You win Troy-Bilt. I surrender. I will get this thing fixed and running an then sell it to someone with full disclosure. I will then buy a dependable snow blower. I surrender.
