Rated 1 out of 5 by from Troy-Bilt: I surrender. Troy-Bilt: I bought a new Troy-Bilt Storm 2410 Snow Blower about three years ago from Lowes. I can honestly say that I have spent more time hauling it to repair shops than running the machine. I now understand that the Chinese engine in my unit is a very good engine that is extremely sensitive to fuel. I did not know that I had to run ethanol-free gas to keep the carburetor from clogging. I did not know that even ethanol-free gas will clog the machine if left in it for over two months. I did not know that, as I live in Denver and snow is sporadic here, that I will just about have to drain the tank every time that I use my snow blower. From the first time in the early 1980's when I saw a Troy-Bilt rear tine rototiller, I thought that Troy-Bilt was the pinnacle. I thought that I had really done something when I bought this machine. I was wrong. You win Troy-Bilt. I surrender. I will get this thing fixed and running an then sell it to someone with full disclosure. I will then buy a dependable snow blower. I surrender. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as expected I am in my sixties (female)and thought this snowblower would be a great step up from the little one I had. Lowe's had a great sale a few years ago and this was the purchase EVER! I have had to call Troybilt and Lowe's with issues!!! In my opinion, the sale on this Storm 2410 was TOO GOOD TOO BE TRUE!!???? My neighbor has a 10 year old snowblower and he could believe the issues with this NEW PURCHASE!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a hot knife they butter After years of having unreliable cheap snowblowers that never wanted to start I got fed up and wanted a good snowblower. I was able to snap this puppy on Black Friday for $399. It was the best money I ever spent. It’s -25 with the windchill and she started right up no issues. I have a bad back so it being self propelled really works for me. I like it so much I clean my 80 year old neighbors sidewalk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Snowblower, stay away from this brand! I bought this snow blower a year ago. I used it twice last year. Went to use if for the first time this year and it would not start. It was stored in my garage over the summer, with the gas drained. This year I filled it with ethanol free gas. Would not start. Changed spark plug. Would not start. Spent hours cleaning the carburetor, would not start. What a disappoint piece of junk, sold by Lowes. This will be going in the trash!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Snow Blower My husband bought for me since I am the "snow person". Since I am older I cannot shovel or push a heavy snowfall any more. Our first snow storm this year was 8-9". Got the machine out on the driveway, started on first push of electric start button. I cleared our two-car width driveway with no effort at all, I was having so much fun I cleaned 3 neighbors' driveways as well. They were so appreciative, but I was having too much fun. This machine performed so much better than I thought one would since this was my first experience with a snow blower. I stopped it a couple of times to talk to the neighbors when they came out. I used the pull start, which was effortless and started on first or second pull each time. Five stars for this amazing machine!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON'T BUY - DEFECTIVE BLOWER, NO SUPPORT This is a brand new snow blower, never used, purchased from Lowe's. The Troy-Built name used to be known for durable, high quality products that you could rely on for years - not anymore. The engine at first did not start, then after getting no support from Lowe's, we took it to a local mechanic who got it working. The most maddening was during a winter storm (in process), where we needed to use it and the BLOWER DOES NOT ROTATE TO SHOOT. The handcrank does not work. The company has issued a defect, but is not doing anything about it - they just refer you to the manual, but the manual does not tell you anything. If this was several years old and never used, I could understand normal wear and tear, but this is totally unacceptable and Troy Built needs to replace the unit to be fair to the consumer. I do not recommend this unit for any reason.
