Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best snow blower I have ever owned! This thing is a beast! If you have a long driveway or parking area, look no further! Electric start is awesome! Plus, pull start, starts on second pull! Throws snow so far, I have to be careful not to throw it into my neighbors driveway! Touch control steering is a great feature as is the toggle control electric chute controls. Throws powder half way across the yard, and does not bog down on heave slushy snow! Only downfall, the headlight sucks! It lights the snow blower motor and chute, but halogen bulb does not light out front where the action is. I am looking to either buy the optional LED light from Troy-Bilt or mounting after market LED lights. as for snow blower for large areas, a definite great machine!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Customer Service I have not had a chance to use it as of yet but customer service was very helpful. Home Depot would not order it for me as they said it was not available. Troy Bilt CS got it to me in about a week. Can't wait to try it. One thing however I do not like is the light. It lights up the chute, not in front of you. CS told me the light is only for others to see you. Their optional LED light kit should be installed on the front of the machine free of charge since the installed light is almost worthless. I will up my rating to a five when we get some snow here in Jersey

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works Second use, the retainer clip that holds the axle bearing in place came off and the two axles fell out. After putting the unit on a furniture dolly and dragging it back to the garage I had to dig through the snow for all the spacers and thrust washers, never found the axle key. Shoveled the 450’ long driveway. Was told that I would need to bring the unit to the local warranty shop. It has no wheels, how do you drag a snow thrower up ramps without wheels? Fixed it by buying a key and putting it back together. Used it once after fixing it without an issue. Used it last night and the retaining clip on the left side bearing came off again, luckily I was able to get it to the garage and fix it. Question for Troy bilt engineering, why would you use a retaining clip and plastic retainers on axles? If you put any amount of sideways pressure on the wheel the retainer can come off and then the whole thing is shot. A product is only as good as its weakest link

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Barely three years old and not starting. Paid a lot of money for this Arctic Storm 34" snow blower. Performs poorly in any kind of snow. Has problems pulling snow in fast enough and tends to ride up on top of the snow rather then cut through it. Pulls to one side or the other depending on which impeller is getting the most bite. Hard to control and keep in a relative straight line. Heating handles are a joke. The headlight? Once you're blowing snow, all the light reflects in your eyes. Cannot see anything. The headlight is so poorly positioned that it is almost useless and may even be a nuisance. The Snow chute is very high so it blocks most of the light from illuminating the path ahead of you. Gave trouble starting from the second year I had it. This year 2020. Just would not start at all. Checked the carburetor and it was clogged. Took it off clean it and put it back on. Now it leaks from the two gaskets. Guess what? No parts available to fix it. No gaskets, no carburetor. Go figure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Artic Storm 34 two stage snow blower I just got to try out my Brand New 34" Storm Troy -Bilt this morning. We only had about an Inch of white Powder type snow. But I was able to clean the Drive Way and side walk with ease. I love the Power steering that it has. It's very easy to steer and Coperate I got the Big Snow cab and put it on it and it was only 22 degrees and I had to unzip my jacket half way down. LOL. I was sweating, the hand warmers were great boy do they warm up pretty quick. Way better than I thought that they would. You can turn this blower on a dime. The electric chute is wonderful as well. I'll say this I have had 4 other snow blowers in my time and they have all been great starters with the pull rope, but this machine is wonderful. I pull the handle until the slack was out of the rope and just gave it a tug and it fires up so fast it is amazing. .LOL.. Really the best starting one that I have ever seen. So easy That I'm still wondering how they could have made it start any faster than what was already a Great starter.. LOL.. I haven't even tried the Electric start yet. .LOL.. I can't wait to see how it blows some deep snow. I thought that the 2 speed reverse might be to fast for me because I don't walk the best, but it is all right. It might be a little slow for some. I started out in 1st gear forward and found out that the 2 speed setting was perfect for me it didn't run off on me I could keep up very easily.. Over all right now I love the thing. I'm sure it will be great in the deeper snow. I'll stop back when I do find out and tell you all how that goes. But Like I said so far I love this Puppy. A very well built snow blower and you really can't tell that it is a bigger and Heaver Blower because it just turns so nicely and all.. Troy -Bilt has done themselves Good on this model. I can easily say that.. Oh and yes I'm 62 year's old and have bad knees and back and I can use this Blower so easily I am amazed.
