Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good concept, poor execution... I purchased this blower at Lowe's and it worked fine the first couple of times but then the plastic around the fan housing began to crack and break off. Now the entire unit is not operational as the fan rubs on the clear plastic fan housing. It's a shame that such a large company can make products with such poor materials. It's a simple matter of plastic quality and it ruined was was a promising product...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blower assy (part 753-08290) After 2nd use, the shroud assembly, part 753-08290, broke off. Bought the unit a year ago, used it once. This year the assembly broke off at the three attachment screw points. Should ave gone with the "Orange" manufacturer.... Just ordered two replacement parts (753-08290) so I have a spare

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Telling friends and family to steer clear Have owned two different blowers of the same model, the first one the starter string broke after not even half a mowing season, and the second one the starter string apparently came off of the reel and jammed the starting mechanism so that it couldn't be started by hand or with the electrical hand held starter. Exchanged the first one, returned the second and will be steering clear of Troybilt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from it Broke I’ve had this a couple years but only use it 4-5 times in the fall for leaves. Yesterday I was using it and the cone and plastic red piece just broke off with the screws still attached to the motor part. I didn’t hit anything, I didn’t put any pressure on it, I didn’t touch the ground and it just came off. As much as I loved it I have doubt I’d spend another $150 to get about 10 uses out of it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted exactly one tank of gas I bought this from Lowe’s last year and used it about 3 or 4 times. Motor always started easily and ran good. I went to pick it up one day and the whole fan shroud fell off. Very poor quality plastic and I never even left it out in the sun. I’m sure my warranty is up so I guess I learned a valuable lesson.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Good and Bad The good - I have 2 Troy-bilt 4 cycle weed eaters. They are 4 years old and work perfect, easy starting and powerful. Maintain 12 acres. Now The Bad - I purchased the Jet blower. the first year it worked perfect. Had plenty of power to move leaves, even wet. The second year it started losing power, right down to finally stopping, and not wanting to crank any more. I checked the Plug. It was fouled. Cleaned it and it started up fine. Ran for 10 minutes and stopped again. Plug fouled again. Cleaned it and it started right up and ran for 5 minutes. This was repeated several more times with the same results. I am sure it is fouling because of carbon because the plug is dry. Only a small piece of carbon between the contacts. Working to solve that problem now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy and effective I enjoy the ease of the TB2MB jet gas leaf blower. However, and it is a huge however, the clear part that attaches to the engine broke off within a month of owning the product. I've tried super glue the product with limited success. I get one to two uses with it, then I have to re-glue the clear part back onto the main unit so it will work. Todate, I've not been successful getting any help from Troy-bilt and was not able to return the unit from the store I bought it from. This issue is huge as the clear part is required to chanel the air into the black tub allowing you to clean the leafs out of the yard/driveway etc..I would like to get a new clear part sent to me but the Troy-Bilt rep I spoke to stated she could not send me out this part. So, this product sits in my tool shed unusable.
