Rated 4 out of 5 by from Workhorse I bought this tiller about 5 years ago when we first move out to the country. It will till almost anything. You will have to go over the hard stuff a few times but it will do it. It was a true workhorse for 3 yrs. I am bad at maintenance so after about 3 years i have had to have it worked on at the start of spring to get it to start. I think the carb. clogs from old fuel. If you take care of it I think it would last a lifetime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tiller This is the best garden tiller I have ever operated. I recommend this to anyone who needs a tough tiller that is easy to handle and operate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I've ever had!!!!!!! When I saw the price I kinda thought "yikes", but you get what you pay for!!!! The BIGGEST benefit for me, at my Senior age, is the EASE of operation!!! Both forward and back are powered!!! Then there's the Honda engine, which we ALL know will generally out-live its owner!!!!! The first couple years I only ran it in the Spring, and even though it sat up in the meantime, it fired RIGHT up!!!!!! The Counter-Rotation pulls the tines into the dirt so you don't have to press down!!!!! I don't think there's a better tiller ANYWHERE!!!!! And by the way, I live in pure CLAY!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honda engine big plus This is the second Troy-Bilt tiller, the first having a Brigg&Stratton engine. My second and latest Troy-Bilt comes with a Honda engine. What a difference. Starts one pull every time. Much better engine and easy starts. When the cord is pulled the exhaust valve is opened a bit making it some much easier to start. No comparison. Counter rotating tines (CRT) is the only way to go for tough jobs, cuts through even tall fescue like it's not even there. Try that with a shovel some time and you'll appreciate this tiller. Great for making berms as well. Very well built tiller and comes with a reverse gear as well. Thumbs up all the way, this is the tiller to have for tough jobs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Built Machine I have had my Pro Line CRT for 11 years and I am doing my first repair. Nothing is broken, it's just the drive belts have seen better days. It was a bit of a challenge changing them, but that is the first repair for this machine. One of the first things I did to my tiller was to fill the tires with water as it didn't seem to have enough "pull". Once I did that, it made a big difference. What I like about this machine is when you need it, it starts right up and goes to work. Mild winters here in Northern California and all I do before storing it, give it a good bath and get it as clean as I can, the I drain the fuel out of it, pull the spark plug and squirt some oil in the cylinder and replace the spark plug. This is my second Troy Bilt Rototiller. My first one lasted 25 years and I expect the same from this one. I would say you just can't go wrong with Troy Bilt Tillers. Well engineered, well built, well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use Bought this in May and have used it several times. Lightweight enough that the grandchildren can use it safely. Starts with one pull, tills the ground as deep as you want it, easy to use, Bought it at Hardware Hank in Thief River Falls, MN and had excellent service from them.
