Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cuts like a dream! I've had my mower for about 2 months and can honestly say that it cuts better than any previous mower that I've used---including a friend's Husqvarna zero turn and much better than my old tractor riding mower. Very comfortable to use for long periods and the integrated deck wash is really nice. I did have a little bit of a problem when first purchased. One of the rear tires refused to stay inflated. After figuring out that the wheel was defective, I called Troy Bilt support and they shipped me a brand new wheel and tire. Haven't had a problem since. The support rep was awesome!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Mower, streamlined features This mower is great, I have 5 acres but really only mow about 3 acres and it doesn’t take very long. I have soft sand and I have not had any issues with getting stuck or not getting traction. I have however had one significant issue. It has a choke on it where all you do is push the speed lever all the way up to engage it, my issue now after only 2 uses is that the engine will not even attempt to turn over initially. I haven’t reached out to the company yet because i am trying to deal with my retailer first. The choke does not start the engine and I have to flutter the throttle lever on the engine while I turn the key.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to run I bought this about 2 months ago. First time running if it I was on the upper flatter position of the road ditch and I hit a bump the mower turned on it own and went right in the ditch. I had been stuck with each use of the mower. I bought some tractor lug tires for it and has made the world of difference!! I watch the turns so not to tear up the turf but I am really like the mower! I especially like the under deck wash hook up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rugged workhorse Purchased this mower two weeks ago , my Cub Cadet burned up on me ( Drive belt caught fire). Four weeks growth but the 54” Mustang did great with the high grass. So far so good. Very much faster than the Cub. Drives well, not as loud and very responsive. Good looking and rugged too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like this mower, but... I bought this mower last October and only have 12.5 hours on it. It mows really nice and I can get closer than any other mower I've had, but just yesterday I got ready to mow and as soon as I engaged the blades the belt snapped. I called the store I bought it from and they are working on getting a replacement belt or reimbursing me for having to buy one from the shop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor engineer poor motor Not very happy with how my Troy-Bilt mower is I’m going to be calling and talking to a general manager. Brand new mower 6.3hrs on it blue a head blowing probably broke ring on piston white smoke and oil out the exhaust spitting oil everywhere had oil in it but was low when we bought it Oil low flashing since we bought it and it’s been full of oil. Not really happy with product how the web site description shows how Tuff and reliable these mowers are but not with only 6.3hrs on a brand new mower I’ve had mower for 2 weeks and it blows up
